Would you share your fondest Christmas memory?

As part of my Holiday Celebration Series here at Blueberry Cottage blog I will be featuring stories from those who care to share a sweet memory of a Thanksgiving or Christmas celebration from their past.

Perhaps you have a childhood memory or even a recent holiday celebration that gives you "the warm fuzzies" and evokes the essence of the season. Maybe a special church service each year, the smell of pine from a fresh cut tree , or even the sweet taste of  a sugar cookie reminds you of the value and treasure of  the Christ child and family relationships
 at this time of year.

Has there ever been a Christmas where there was very little under the tree or to share , but the simplicity of a handmade gift and a homemade meal still lingers as your fondest celebration ever.  Family traditions no longer practiced, a shared cup of cocoa with a grandparent long gone , or helping serve Thanksgiving dinner at a shelter are all memories that make you long for the good old days where the pace was slower and the consumerism of today was absent from celebrations.

Please consider sharing your sweet memories with others this season. If you would love to share a precious memory from Thanksgiving or Christmas, which can be a paragraph long or a page, that is entirely up to you,  I will be publishing these stories with your permission during the holiday season.  Please email your stories to me, with holiday memory in the subject line to Taketimefortea@aol.com.  *Deadline for submissions is November 22nd.

Each friend of Blueberry Cottage that submits a story will receive a little handmade gift from me as a special thank you.

  3. Hi, I'm Laura of Harvest Lane.
Do you by any chance have a copy of the story I sent you a hundred years ago?
    I've misplaced it.
    Thanks for checking!

Thanks for stopping by Blueberry Cottage and saying hello. I hope you found your time here an encouragement and blessing. I read all my comments and answer your questions right within.

I really detest word verification, but I had to enable it. The spam was overwhelming! Sorry if this deters you from commenting, but it was necessary.

Have a blessed day!
