Today, I am...

...wondering where November went and how exactly December 5th snuck up on me?

...remembering our tree hunt the other day and the joy it brings to find just the right tree with my favorite peeps in the whole wide world!

...thankful for a very patient husband that lets me pick out just the right tree.

...grateful to good friends who came over Saturday and went with my son to get his violin.  Then took the two older kids back to their house because Lydia was sick and didn't want them to miss out on church the next day!

...looking forward to a new musical instrument being mastered in our home.

...preparing for our annual St. Nicholas Tea tomorrow a la Tasha Tudor style. Yes, dundee cake will be defrosting shortly!

...anticipating doing alot of reading and snuggling a certain sick child and praying over them a quick recovery.

...hoping to put the finishing touches on a few Christmas decorations.

...looking forward to putting a new handknit hat on my newest grandson!

...happy that my amaryllis bulb is taking off, hoping for a bloom by Christmas.

...grateful for each person who stops by here and says hello and shares a portion of theirselves.

  1. Love the violin...I've played for years. I just potted up an amaryllis bulb in an old bean pot!! Don't you just love them? I love the idea of Dundee Cake...wish I could have some! I pray Miss Lydia is feeling better soon! I'm taking Wednesday off to get my hopefuls finished as well! Have a blessed evening!

I really detest word verification, but I had to enable it. The spam was overwhelming! Sorry if this deters you from commenting, but it was necessary.

Have a blessed day!
