Healthy Drinks for Kids!

It seems that no matter where we go my children are always offered soda. Now, once in awhile is okay, but a steady diet of this stuff is not good for anyone. So what is the alternative? Sugary juices are definitely not good either, nevermind that most of the fruits are so heavily sprayed with pesticides and come from other countries that have quite lax regulations on growers and such.

Here are a couple of suggestions I think can fit the bill for a special treat. Pomegranate Sparklers.  Just saying "sparklers" sounds yummy, don't you think?  These are so delicious and refreshing, can't wait to serve these up in the summertime too.

Then try a cherry soda or blueberry or cranberry or whatever you like! Shoshanna from Bulk Herb Store shares her video on how to mix up a "Cherry Soda". It is episode #33 on the BHS youtube channel.  My kids thought they were having a cherry coke, sneaky Mama :-)

Do you have any healthy drink tips, recipes? Please share.
