IN A QUANDARY AND NEED YOUR HELP
This friends is a tough question. I have had emails about keeping Blueberry Cottage up and running, more when I posted that this blog will go private. Now, of course, this blog is my first love, but I was thinking a few days ago, that maybe I should keep both blogs running. I really felt I heard the Lord about Not Quite Donna Reed, but sometimes one can run with an idea and not hear right. That ever happen to you? Most of the emails from you sweet people said you like the hominess (is that a word?) here, the personal sharing and such. I have had the Tasha Tudor circle email saying they miss my posts with anything Tasha. Hmm... what thinks ya Tasha fans:-)
Here is my quandary: can't do two, or at least not do two blogs great. I have limited time on my hands.
What do you all think? Do you like it here? There? Be honest. I can take it, really. Thick skin and all! I am looking for feedback from both blogs so I will answer any questions or comments right in the comments.
Oh, yes, if your the praying type, could you offer up a prayer for this too :-)
Blueberry Cottage or Not Quite Donna Reed?

Thanks for stopping by Blueberry Cottage and saying hello. I hope you found your time here an encouragement and blessing. I read all my comments and answer your questions right within.
I really detest word verification, but I had to enable it. The spam was overwhelming! Sorry if this deters you from commenting, but it was necessary.
Have a blessed day!
Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. Ephesians 4:29 NLT

I like the Donna Reed one. I think you should go with that one. Keep this one, because you never know when you'll get tired of retro and want to go back to it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellie Rae:-)
DeleteFor some reason I really gravitate toward Blueberry Cottage. And I too miss the Tasha posts! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Caroline! Yes, I have some that want the Tasha posts back...LOL!
Deletewell, I fell in love with Blueberry Cottage,,, but if you need to change, I am sure you could post the same sort of love on the other blog. Keeping a couple blogs can be consuming. I have my art blog at Garboodles...and have really neglected it because I post a lot more on The Childs paper. I would say move on to what you feel reflects you, what you wish to share or post and run with it. Either way I will follow ya. And I will surely keep you in prayer. Hugs and best wishes on your desicion...Mica
ReplyDeleteMica,
DeleteThank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts:-)
You know I love them both...where ever you are...
ReplyDelete~Have a lovely day!
Teresa, thank you:-)
DeleteI too liked the personal touches of Blueberry Cottage, but I'll follow either and look forward to your posts. Heather
ReplyDeleteThanks Heather!
DeleteHi Suzanne, I find with tough decisions like this to follow your own heart. Afterall, that's where the words always come from for your writing. Whatever you decide, I'll always drop in for a visit.
ReplyDeleteKathy, I shall, thanks for putting it that way:-)
DeleteNot sure if I just deleted my message or not so I'll try again. I love visiting at Blueberry Cottage and will follow you to Not Quite Donna Reed if that is where you feel inclined to be.
ReplyDeleteLisa, thanks!
DeleteI am so in love with this blog and am sad that it may go. I do miss the Tasha posts. However, you have to do what is best for you. I'll follow wherever you go.
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me know Stephanie! Tasha Tudor Day is coming up--watch for something special!
ReplyDeleteBlueberry Cottage is a lovely place to visit, and I am a real Tasha Tudor fan so I really enjoy the posts you do about her, but, they are your blogs and I really think you should keep the one that you enjoy writing the most. I will still enjoy visiting.
ReplyDeleteThis is my very first visit here and looked at both, why can't you combine the love of both in one... how does that look when you close your eyes and merge them together... take a deep breath and sigh, say a short prayer and open your eyes. What do you see with the eyes of your heart?
ReplyDeleteDear Gypsy,
DeleteThanks, that is just what I did:-) I hope you'll come back for more visits!
