Church Meal Ministries::Guest Post at Comfy in the Kitchen

Hello! Yes, I am still here. I have missed you all! Won't you join me at Janelle's blog today Comfy In The Kitchen where I share how I started a weekly meal ministry at my church.  I love Janelle's blog, she always has tasty recipes to share as well as her heart, which is a beautiful one. I fear if that girl and I lived near each other we would be glued together in the kitchen cooking up goodness for people. She has a real heart for ministry in the are of providing meals, as do I. She is a love! And if your unComfie in the kitchen a good place to start to get Comfie is with Janelle!

  1. I went and read your post and I wanted to say "thanks". Over the past year and a half we changed churches. The old church was not very community oriented and our new one is very community oriented. Yesterday, I received a phone call from a fellow parishioner who asked me if our family was going to attend the pasta dinner (last night) I said no and made an excuse. Truth is, I was nervous to go, feel stupid, odd, left out etc. I read your post right after that phone call and when I checked my email, I had an invite to a church potluck next weekend so I signed up a dish and dessert. Thank you for your inspiring article.

    God Bless

    1. Lisa,
Thanks so much for stopping by and letting me know! I am so encouraged:-) I think we all are first timers at such things...LOL! But each time you participate you will make a new friend or feel just a bit more comfortable than the last time. Let me know how it goes, I will be curious:-)
      Blessings,

Thanks for stopping by Blueberry Cottage and saying hello. I hope you found your time here an encouragement and blessing. I read all my comments and answer your questions right within.

I really detest word verification, but I had to enable it. The spam was overwhelming! Sorry if this deters you from commenting, but it was necessary.

Have a blessed day!
